Superpig
Repashy Superpig is a carotenoid supplement designed to enhance the pigment and diet amphibians, birds, fish and reptiles. Use of this product has anecdotally shown reds to become more vibrant, oranges to go golden and yellows to brighten. We at Frontier Exotics have witnessed this first hand with some of our dart frog species.
Contains a “broad spectrum” of Carotenoids including, but not limited to: Astaxanthin, Capsanthin, Capsorubin, Apsorubin, Beta-Carotene, Alpha Carotene, Beta Cryptoxanthin, Zeaxanthin, Neoaxanthin, Cucurbitaxanthin, Violaxanthin, Lutein, Echineone, Canthaxanthin and Lycopene.
Directions
To apply Superpig to feeder insects place insects into a cup (we use 32oz deli cups but any deep container will work). Sprinkle a small amount of the powder into the cup and gently swirl the insects to coat them. Insect should then be fed immediately to your pet. Any remaining powder in the cup should be discarded. If done correctly the feeders should be completely coated with the supplement powder with very little powder left over as waste.
To add Superpig to a complete diet, such as Repashy Crested Gecko Diet, simply add it to the powder before mixing with water. This should be done at a 4% inclusion level based on weight.
For best results store supplements in the refrigerator and replace very six months.
