Entomybrya sp. 'Wood Runner'

Springtails are the backbone of any bioactive enclosure. This is a species of Entomybrya that does fantastic in arid and semi-arid environments. This species will need a moist place for reproduction and are best cultured on substrate with lots of bark. They received their name for how quick they scatter when disturbed, prefering the underside of logs and branches hence Wood Runner. When added to the enclosure they will often "disappear" prefering to stay hidden under rocks, leaves and driftwood.
